i havent used them, but ive heard theyre real good skates for beginners. as for the ankle thing, it all really depends on the shape of your foot. maybe the guy you talked to has really wide ankles, or maybe he had them on too tight. wheels wearing out fast is an easy fix, idk off the top of my head what wheels the C7's start with, but i cant see them wearing out THAT fast, especially if youre new to the sport. and since its razors beginner to intermediate skate, i think it has a generic razors liner, that again, should 'rip real easy' when youre just starting out.

bottom line, yea, i think theyre a good starting skate. hope i helped.
sweet. thanks man.
straight out of the box, the cult 7's are very solid skates. if you feel the need to change anything, i'd go with a new liner. maybe the sifika 714 or jug ninja liners. everything else is good to roll.
are you buying these at a pro shop or online?
ill probally have to order them online because i cant find a pro shop any where near me. i live in Indianapolis so if anyone knows where one is, please let me know. I go to ohio like every weekend to so if u know one in the cincinnati area, ill check it out.

i cant find anything where you live either. but i found this place in ohio that says they have cult 7's. they're called ohio surf and skate, in beavercreek, ohio. idk if thats close to you or not.
u know what, i think dicks sporting goods still sell skates. if theres one close to you, you should give that a look as well.
yea i already went their thinking that they did but they dont. they only sell the regular skates. their used to be a galyans near me and i know for sure they did but dicks bought them out and now its like an ashley furniture store.
idk wha to tell ya. it seems that you'll only be able to buy them only. where ever you buy them from make sure you read their return policy. you dont want to get stuck with skate that dont fit. or, as a last resort, maybe the next time you see a skateboarder ask them if they sell skates where they got their board from.
