it depends on how much you use them.Since the wheels are perfectly round they are bound to feel a bit weird until the wheels become smoothed down

just go to a skate park like 3 or 4 times or go street skate every day for a week if you can and the wierd feeling should go away
i just got new skates also so i know what you mean
