Just Curious how I measure up with my fellow skaters. Don't be embarrassed, cause I am no bad ass.

Max Bench Press: 265, and that took me 9 months of training, and I had the fingers under the bar by my spotter.

Fastest 40 Yard Dash: 4.327

Vertical Leap: 37 1/2

how do you measure vertical?
all i know is my 40yd dash from football an that was a few years ago 4.9
Vertical Leap is normally measured by what they call a "tall boy". It is basically a long and slender pole with clickers on the top to measure. You just squat from a resting position and spring as high as you can while flailing your arm to the highest mark.

People that come from a HS athletics background will know what I mean, but to those that don't, Vertical leap is a measure of your jumping ability from a stationary position.

Vertical is particularly important to people that play at receiver or defensive secondary positions in Football, as it will obviously give you a better play on the ball, but it is just as important as a blader.

My basic point was that most of you guys are ever bit as fast, strong, and agile as our conventional sport counterparts are.
Thats a solid 40! You got quickness brah!
well, my bench is pathetic, i dont know how much it is but its only like 20 pounds,
last time i did a forty was like 5 years ago and it was like 5 flat
and my vertical is about 30 inches (did it kinda ghetto, jumped and put a post it on a wall as high as i could)
No worries there, My vertical is not what it should be either.
Still ,if you can run a 4.9 40, with training and coaching you could shave that down to maybe .45 or 4.4.

The intensity that you get off the mark from makes all the difference in the world. its all about being able to fire out like your sitting on a spring.

look at it this way, there is no one to block you, and no defensive unit to contend with.

The QB takes his five step drop and is looking for his receivers. .

You have to put him down with a vengeance.
Click Clack brah
yeah i run a 40 in 12.6
no worries brah, Ill let you slide. Not everyone can be an athlete .
haha. i got it to a flat 12 the other day.. beginners luck
Not too sure on that stuff, but I got 80 good pushups, 20 pull ups and can run 3 miles in 20:34. I don't know if thats good for a high school athlete because I have never participated in school sports because I skated all the time. I have been out of high school for many years (I'm 25) and I'm in the military and I still kill the PT test every year.
You should have somebody clock your 40, just for the hell of it Rob. Sounds like you are in awesome shape though bro.
