Anybody from Australia here? And are the rest of you as pissed off as I am about how left out of everything we are?

I went and tried on a pair of TV.2s in a Perth store the other day, and thought "Oh, God YES!", so I'm buying them this week. Then I got online and looked at the white ones, which I think are pretty cool.

So when my other half makes his next trip there, I got him to ask if they can order them in for next week.

He comes back and tells me no, they can't, you can't get them in Australia.

HOW can this be true?! Grrr...

Aside from that, the store itself seems to be the only place that has a decent range of skates, and that itself is pretty meagre. Perth itself is even further behind the times than the rest of the country.

Dangnabbit.

Sounds like you might want to order your skates from an online shop that ships to Australia ( most do ). That way you get exactally what you want. Here is a link to another thread where ppl have listed many good online shops to buy from:

Thanks, that looks really good :D

It's mostly the principle that bugs me, I guess.
for the record where i live (on an island too...even though your is a bigggggg island and a country in itself) we don't have a inline shop for hundreds of miles even when you hit the main land so at least you have that lol
Owch, I guess I should count my blessings :P
Yea definetly lucky to have a skate shop at all. The closest one to me is 3hrs away. I get just about everything online. A-mall and inlinewarehouse probably ship to australia, you might get killed on shipping though. Do you still have cosmo wheels down there? I hear they last forever.
Inlinewarehouse ships here, but the shipping is over $100, grr...I think A-mall slugs you less.
Cosmo wheels? I'll check it out.
These are all in Australia,
I bought from SkaterHQ and SkateBiz so they are reliable etc...

and i'm thinking you went to outer limitz, for your skates?
Outerlimitz, how did you know?

This is awesome, I didn't know there was anything else.

Thanks :D
haha i know sad isnt it. Only one rollerblading store in perth :(
there used to be a bladeskate shop then that turned to momentum and im not sure if they still sell skates. i recommend Skatebiz aye, they are good :)
Yeah, I looked at momentum online...it didn't seem to have much.

Outerlimitz is ok, they get good skates in, they just don't have a very big range.

Looked at skatebiz last night...pretty sweet :)
