K2 Fatty or Genesys 9?

What up guys. I've been outta the game for a bit but getting back into it. Ready to get rid of my crappy ass hand me downs. Not to sure about which way to go. I've always loved K2 however I know Razor's are pretty badass. I'm thinking about getting the Genesys 9's but have always heard good things about the K2 Fatty Pro's. I'll be doing mostly park as there is not alot around here in terms of street and they're pretty stict since I live on a Marine base so street is pretty much out of the question. Opinions?

good to hear youre getting back into this man :D

never tried razor personaly, what i can tell you is that k2s are amazing for ramps and vert, but still good for some street action :)

ever concider paying the bit extra and getting
the k2 varsitys? bigger and better sliding soul plate :D or you could just get the fatty pro and get a varsity soul it fits on :)

I have the K2 Fatty and really like them once I got rid of the stock frames, but I've never worn Razor. I couldn't get the hang of grinding with a flat set up so changed out the inner wheels for anti-rockers. Then I found I wanted a deeper groove on the stock frames so I made a lot of passes on an unwaxed curb to make it deeper, but it never felt right to me until I replace the frames with GC F1 XS frames. Between the Varsity and Fatty, I would go with the Fatty and put the difference in price towards swapping out frames.

K2's are nice but theres something about Razors that I personally love

I use to have a pair of fattys a few years back and i just got a pair of G9s and i love them....in my opinion they are better than the fattys

I just bought the G9's and although I haven't skated them yet they feel amazing and I cannot wait to get in a session with em. I am really hoping they feel good with vert but we'll find out.
