what do you think about skateboarding? how did it become so popular?
i remember seeing a lot of bladers but all of the sudden i see a whole bunch of skateboarders now everywhere i go i see someone on one of those. what the heck!!

Every body has there sport I guess, I respect'em, I cant Kick flip a 5 stair, hell I cant olli down a 2 stair. Skateboarding blew up cause of Tony Hawk. Booten just aint easy to get into, I mean you cant just go to Walmart and buy aggressive skates and parents find it alot easyer to go to Walmart and buy there kid a $25 skate board for Christmas than to get online and spend $260 to order skates that may or may not fit. Dont sweat the small stuff bud, If you like booten go roll and be a rolling advertisement for your sport.

amen.let em do what they want.the smart ones who wanna roll figure out how to one way or another...rollerblading especially when your new takes disapline and comittment actually i believe in the beggining alot harder to get involved and feel involved rollerbladers are kinda mean for the most part to lil kids who have all thier pads on and a brake attached still i bet if we were more encouraging and promoted more positivity and individuality instead of not being some bodys friend cuz they cant 450 topsoul or somethin kids would adapt and feel more welcome to suck and it be ok for a lil while ...i trully feel theres too much pressure on the gen of bladers thats why they get afraid to be down with blading and thats wasted $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ down the drain for us.

I so hear you on that...i go to the park and try to help kids but then when i want to do a trick and it take them 10 min to get up the ramp i'm trying to skate on i find myself getting mad...so i see we just need to help the kids and maybe down the road we might out number the boarders again...i for one am one of the people that use ot board and then got into bladeing and i help my friends out all the time that board and skate with them too...to i respect the boarders my crew and pull some tight shit off.

tru tru i just ran into a kid really hard one time so i don't ever go if there around the area i go...and i never skated a park until the second year i started skating cause i had a roller that got me into it on my street and he had a ton on shit to skate...god i miss toughs days

Out where I live the skateboard scene is FULL of idiots! At my local park if im there past 5pm any day of the week shit WILL go down. They put the skate park in the part of town that has the most trouble with gangs and drugs ect lol So as soon as it gets dusky the dealers come on down and the skaters start gettin all wasted and VERY violent. Example lol: I had some kid probably 15-16 skate up to me and say "He dude this is a SKATE park no gay rollerfagging aloud! Get the fuck out of here or ur gonna get cut". Like i said he was just a young one so i laughed in his face and kept skating, so then he skates infront of me and makes me stop and pull out one of those crazy flippy butterfly knives and starts just jugglin it in my face. I left and everyone at the park was just a holler'n the most crazy shit at me as i pulled away in my car. I've ever been stabbed before by some random kid just for rollerblading! So i dont think too highly of ANY skateboarder at all, to me its like prison when i skate in my town lol Keep ur fucken head up and watch ur back always!

ok theres some skateboarders thats i do respect. i respect the ones i see on the skate park that are like really good like stuff i never seen before. theres one one guy that dose crazy tricks i bet he made then himself but that all. yeah i got stuck on the bowl..... when the skate park of my city first opened like 4 or 5 years ago or even more but i was there when it was first opened. was a kid like 7 or so, and never skated in skate park or a bowl. no one helped me no one tried to help me they were just skating around me.(by the way that was the time when my city was full of balders, skaters whaterever you know.) but i manege.hey you brent guy wacth your back its a dangereous world out there.

Thats some real shit man, I get pissed as hell when I'm at a park and some booter talks trash to a new commer or yells at them for beeing in the way, I'm like "shit you been in my way all day and I aint said shit to you, leave him alone or we can look at it!" Then I usualy pull the kid asside for a while and spend some one on one time with him teachen him to skate, and its actualy so cool cause you can see it in there eyes how much you made their day, those little kids idolise you and who knows some kid you helped may turn pro one day and be like "yea that dude Ben helped me alot when I first started Skaten" you never know how many lives you'll impact so if your one of those dick head skaters lighten up man those kids look up to you.

yo don't get me wrong i don't yell at them i help thenm i just get upset when there in the way for five min...i still try to help the younger kids cause i love our sport and want it to move forward...you know what i'm saying...i love helping the kid i just drive me nutts when they don't look around....
