I'm shopping for some blades to start aggressive skating, my regular blades are K2 brand and I enjoy them a lot, but they are not for tricks or anything like that. There are no shops around where I live, so I have to shop online, and I want to make sure I don't make a mistake or by some shitty blades.

andrea.... alot of what ur talking about, we have been hitting on my discussion. where do you buy ur skates? its hard to judge how a skate will feel or fit... by a picture online.... just wish there were more shops.... and for what it worth... go with razors...just a personal opinion
oh and also.... which shops have you been checking out online?
I agree with J Jod, Razors are cheap and reliable. The genesys 7.1 skate by Razors is good from what I heard, and they are true to size pretty much.
I got my K2 blades from inlineskates.net I believe, after reading customer reviews, I felt they'd work for me, and I hate taking them off now, luckily my husband lets me skate out in our shop floor so I have plenty of obstacles to manuever around, they're extremely comfortable and fast so I've been looking at that site. But you both say Razors, and the genesys 7.1 murph? I'll definitely check 'em out, right now we have snow here so can't do too much. Our best store was Dunham's Sports but for some reason they closed out, now I'm stuck with Dick's Sporting Goods and they don't have shit at the store for skating, they're mainly hunting and golf enthusiasts.
you should probably get Razors, Rollerblade or K2 (fatty pro, or varsity) K2 make a real nice aggresssive skate.
I have been looking at the Rollerblades also, but the ones I've been eyeing are the rollerblade Solo Era, the Rollerblade Downtown 5, and the Razors Genesys GT. I'd love to save up for the Aragon 3 just from watching the video about it, I'm all about comfort and a tight fit.
i heard rollerblade solos are goooooood
well andrea all skates are different valo are good if you have a slim foot its jus like the m12, usd and razor are both great skates they r both strong, fast sliding and reliable, xsjados can be as cumfy as you want them to be depending on which sneakers you use and they have real big sole plates nimh are ok i guess i roll on usds and i think their sweet i dont think ill switch from usd but different people have different oppinions if you get a chance try your mates skates n se what they feel like
Well there in lies the problem, Eville, IN isn't full of skaters, we only have two parks total and they are maybe 20ft by 20ft and mainly boarders and bmx riders go to the best one. We used to have a kickass one next to our ice rink inside, it was probably 150ft long and maybe 25ft wide, of course that was like 9 years ago and then they tore it down. But I'll most likely go with the Rollerblade Solo Eras.
actually the skate park at swanders is still there. it is SWEET!!!
Do you mean the outside one or the one that was inside? I can't even remember what that old building looked like, I only really went there at night, they also had dancing and shit in there so that's what me and my girls mainly did when we went, I was extremely shy so the idea of trying on some skates and going on those ramps in front of a bunch of good looking guys was crazy to me.
the park is indoor and outside. its right by robert stadium and Swanders.. its like 3 bucks to get in but its pretty nice
