Too many choices. So, the continuation of my rebirth into skating again truly started when I visited Roller Warehouse and tried some skates on. There are so many options since a decade ago. I think I have narrowed it down to Valo EB 1.4 and Remz Ones. They tried to sell me on the Xsjados but I just can get over the mobile cast looking design plus I think I would jack up the toe strap; however, I think they are an ingenious design. I like the new Aragons but I still keep leaning to Valo. I have never skated any of these brands so they are new to me. It was kind of funny cause I liked how light the EB's were and the dude at Roller Warehouse said they were heavy but when I was skating they all were much heavier. I noticed that there are no good reviews of the EB out there just that they look sexy. As much as I relate to a Vans/ Chuck Tailor design I want to get a skate that works well and holds up because I can't drop $300 that often. I know there are many Remz and Razor lovers out there so let me know what you like about your skates so I can make a better decision.

I had the Valo EB ( Black and Whites ) for almost all of 2008. Amazing skates and VERY durable! Im pretty heavy with my skates on lol and i would put those skates through some pretty hard landings and cess slides and they would always come out fine. I would NOT recomend the standard Valo liners that come with the EB's the tounge is rock hard and cuts into ur shins pretty hard. IDK if ur lookin at some custom setup but Valo EB 1's should NOT cost $300! lol

This site has EB1's listed at $198.00

Thanks for the input Brent. I was looking at the new EB 1.4's, those are $300, but thank you for the link because if I don't have to spend that much for the new flashy stuff then that would be awesome. The new liners seem to be softer but this is all new to me.
