"Exercise your legs. Go to a Gym xD (joking), Don´t worry everithing will be better when you get used to it. If you go to a local skatepark try jumping as high as you can. DON´T CHANGE SKATES. I used to have a pair of heavy skates and…"

"Nah man.. They won't get much lighter. Xsjado's are kinda heavy, I guess. If you compare them with roller hockey skates. The best thing would be for you to get maybe the Razors SL's such as the Aragon 4, the Horn etc. Those skates are…"

heavy heavy skates!!!!

brand new to aggressive inline, bought a pair of mook framed xsjado chris farmer's to learn grinding (got front and backside grinds now on low rails, but not on hand rails, i cant jump that high)  but for the life of me i cant get used to the weight. little research showed me that these are heavy even for aggressive skates, but i cant even jump up to hand rails to grind those, on roller hockey skates i could CLEAR handrails no problem. would switching to featherlite anti rockers help instead of…See More

"Or even get a frame that has the grind block insert to save the hassle of dealing with anti-rockers when you're gonna do a grind setup. Remove it to run flat, insert to run freestyle."

"I had a pretty extreme anti-rocker setup for a while and had no problem with stairs. Forwards and backwards were both fine with just the front and back wheels. As long as you have space between your middle wheels you'll slide fine."

"Hey, yea you can go back and forth, but it might become annoying after a while and you might just want to stick with one so that way you can master it and do the same with anti rockers that you can do with all your wheels. Either way will work…"

"sometimes. overall i greatly prefer using an anti rocker setup. it gives you much wider variety of things you can grind and makes it easier to do so, such as ledges. when riding flat your inside wheels will more than likely get caught up on what…"

2 vs 4 wheeled skates

i tried to find a thread on this but nothing came up on the search.so i cracked a couple of the rubber wheels on my hockey skates and used the plastic cores as anti rocker type thing, only skating on 2 wheels. could grind on the platic inside wheels (although i chickened out, as ive never done it before on a big hand rail) but i hated the loss of agility and kept getting caught on cracks in the sidewalk.....also could NOT bash down stairs which is the most fun for me. anyway i think its time…See More
