- I was big time into skating when I was in my early 20's. Then I gave it all up to start a family. (something I was happy to do). Now my kids are old enough and expressing an interest in skating themselves. Well, I don't want to just go to the park and watch. I want to start skating again also.

Im in my 30s and decided to get back into skating 2 years ago. Like alot of skaters my age, i started skating in the 90s, as a teenager when blading first took off. I gave up in the 2000 s and started back again 2 years ago! I think its good that you want to start skating again. It keeps you healthy and flexible which is really good for us older people! In my town there is a small skate scene and we get together when we can and go session gaps, ledges and rails.
