I have had the same bearings for six months now and they're still rolling strong. I clean them every one to two months depending on how they're holding up. The other thing you need is Sonic Citrus Bearing Cleaner, which is available here…

Bones Reds bearings maintenance

Whats goin on. I have a question does any one own bones reds bearings I recently bought some and i want to know how other ppl clean and maintain their bearings i already have the bones speed cream lube now i just need to know how and what to clean them with. it's a balance thing. gonna be easier to ride the tranny backwards with your feet slightly offset like you describe
