I always found those easier than souls because your back foot stays behind you and you can just drop it into place after you get that front foot locked on.

"I'm in the same boat and one realization that hit- lots of wax/curb paint and then speed. You need speed to grind even a rather smooth object and until you brave up, you may not get that essential feel."

Soul Grind Attemps
Ok so I can sort off skate decent lol I have a rail I got to practice in parking lot without anyone to bump into while I leanr to grind
I first did a couple of days for like 20 minutes just my soul foot thru the rail and yesterday for the first time treid to put both at once with the help of another roller to be close catch me if needed lol I know I am a chicken but hey its kind of working for me
I was scared to try it but I finally did it tried a few times to put both feet on…
