its the part of the soul on the inside of your foot below your big toe(on the other side of the frame). to answer your question, keith is right. size doesnt really matter. i think size-wise USD ufs thrones have good souls

these are the frames iv had kizer suspension=heavy but real strong and sturdy slimline=fluid but slimmer fluid=slidey xsjado=wear down real fast 50/50=all frames rule it should help

Ground control is my personal preference, they make some good and durable frames. Ive heard mooks are also really good too. If I were you I'd pick from those two. :)
