Unfortunately for me, I dont have a car...
Theres the metro rail system and buses but I see mostly skateboarders
Most people I spoken to skate a bit outside of DC like in Maryland and Virginia which isn't really far at all... its just if you want to get out there, you would have to drive out there.
But the spots are nice.
