Ok so i got my new skates today, theyer rollerblade solo era's and they kick ass!! now this is the first time i have skated in about 8years and let me tell you, i got my ass whooped. my legs are jello and my ass feels like a rock. i didnt find anything really worth skating except this one rail but it was so close to a building that the only thing i could do was a soul grind and i hit the building a few times with that. that is also pretty crazy and cool, i havent skated in the better part of a decade and my first day back i land a soul grind, a 180mute off a 4ft or so high platform and a 360 on flat ground. its crazy how the motions just come back. i did have to stop a few times too cause my feet and hamstrings were cramping, i run about 10 to 12 miles a week for the army and i am no where near in as good of shape i need to be in to skate.....thats insane! now ive got a few questions for any one who reads this..... first, the wheels that came with the skates are 60mm and 88/a for the hardness, now just after today i can see the wheels getting worn to the inside(with the lean from pushing). so my question is whats a good hardness to go with? i want something that will last on the street but still work good in an indoor park if i find one. second, can i use regular insoles for these or do i need ones made for inlines? the shock to my bum knee was pretty painfull. third, i couldnt get the velcro strap on the cuff tight enough to really lock me in, there was a little gap that allowed me to move around in. my question is, will the plastic loosen up some as the skates get worn in or are they made this way? and fourth, whats a good berring lube/cleaner? i went into a bit of dirt and wanna keep em rolling good. i will be writing more about the skates later but i have to go to bed now cause its 4:15 here and i gotta get up at 11:00 to pull 12hours worth of the night shift. last thing for now......thanks to roya7 and juan at IW for helping me with the skates, yall dont know how happy i am to get back into skating. later yall!

regular insoles will work as long as they fit, the plastic will loosen up after awhile, an a good way to keep wheels from wearing down is rotating them. you can find a diagram on the internet how to . hope i could help.
