So I went skating Saturday for the first time in 2 years or so. I was fairly rough but still landing my royales, souls and few topside variations. The park I was at was laid out horribly and was small but there was one ledge that started off small and went straight beside a bank so it ended up a few feet off the ground. I was souling the shit out of it and the last thing time I hit it before I was ready to go my freaking wheel caught and I feel and landed on my back and hit my elbows on the ground and freaking broke my wrist....again. Not a good way to start my skating season.
Most people think I should stop skating since I'm getting older (25 next week) but I don't want to stop I just want to stop breaking my damn wrist. Last time I skated 2 years ago I fell attempting a 360 over a box and landing on my elbow and broke my wrist so I haven't had a good track record the last few times.
I don't know maybe I just need to not go as big until I get my groove back....but what's the fun in that.
