Im a new blader, ish. Need help with fear.

So yeah, ive been blading about month now. and ive got a 6 set. Learned riding the ramps well. i just need help when it comes to grinding a hand rail. i know i can jump to get onto it but my mind says yes. do it. but my body says no. and its really pissing me off. Anyone else used to be like this when they first started skating?

Please Comment. I Will be happy to hear :)

i had the same prob i tried rails on and off for like 4 months till i finally got over it tho i still have trouble with high rails and rails over stairs but the more you try the easier it gets ive found with skating wen you have no fear thats wen you get hurt so just keep at it and eventually youll get it and if you do happen to get hurt atleast youll kno wat not to do next time

I've been riding for about a month now... still scared crapless of rails :P
Ramps are ok, sometimes you just gotta go for it because once you get it done that adrenaline is pumping, your body is shaking and you just want to do it again and again.

Yeah, i like the adrenaline. Like when i first did this 6 set i felt it and it feels awesome. But its just the fact of a handrail down stairs kinda puts me off. but im gonna buy some pads and a helmet so it should be all good :)

Yea I was like this. I was afraid to try every trick cause I was to worried about messing up and bustin my ass. My advice, which goes for every noobie, just go for it. Don't think about it or else its gonna psych u out and ur not gonna wanna do it at all. And also, don't do handrails. Especially if you've only been blading for a month. Your not really ready for that yet.

If you want to make an omlet, you have to break a few eggs. Just try all the tricks you feel confident doing, you WILL fall, but you'll land a few too.

Listen to TJ..It true..Keep the fear. Ditch the doubts.

one little tip too dude...if your gonna try ANY trick...go for it 110% and you'll probably land it.....anything less results in disaster. But a little fear is a great thing, keeps the edge goin.

bro dont go rushing in to things trust me i started when i was 12-13 and i wanted to skate huge rails the day i started but some times i think i push my self to hard and i come out with a split head or a bust up knee or somethin...make a practice rail and learn to balance your self on that first...yes i agree with kasey go for it but practice on a p rail or a ledge first...keep rollin...peace
