rail vs ledge/step........and friendly bladers

so i got the remz 0803 after selling my dt4s to my cousin who just started...we went yesterday for a little session seeing as how i didnt skate my remz yet....took out my p rail from my trunk n went at it...I LOVE THEM! i landed a few grinds [ soul mizou ONE acid and a half assed makio..busted my ass on a frontide ]...i was super duper uber mega colossal happy at the results and i couldn't wait for tomorrow [ today ]...

today comes and i head out to flushing meadows after i voted [ WOOT FIRST TIME ]...they day was cludy but beautiful not too cold n not too warm...when i got to the spots there were MMAAAADDDDDD skateboarders.... one lil group was recording themselves so i tried to pass thru w/o disturbing...none of the skaters gave me shit...good thing ^__^... i head out to my steps [ cuz all the boarders were at the high ledge n i wanted to try it out due to last night...gotta warm up first...] i hated it...it was too rough on my skates so i waxed it...didnt like the feeling still but i kept at it for a few more minutes...

then i see a group of bladers...never seen them in my life...but since we're the minority i guess...they alll greeted and watched me while they were on their way to the other spot [ high ledge ]... this happened to me a a few times...ive seen other boarders n bike riders....and some are assholes to each other...but with us its like theres an unwritten DNA rule thing to be nice to each other in a natural way...thats wassup!

Comment by Ciarán on November 6, 2008 at 12:35pm: i think you have a point there, because i can't think of a single blader who was an asshole to me...even when i was askin pretty beginner type questions which might annoy some people, Al Hooi (irish professional, check him out ^^) just answered all my questions and he was askin bout my skates and stuff he was rly sound even though i know he wanted to skate, so i didn't ask too many questions and then he just tore up the park like nothin i've ever seen :P

Comment by Qwami on March 22, 2009 at 7:03pm: This is soooo true. I went to a skate spot on friday and i see TRS on this guys feet and instantly hes like "do i know you...welcome to the spot...lets run some tricks...anything you need help with." all this is before we even introduce who we are lol
