What happened to blading?

What happened to blading there used to be kids up and down the streets busting out tricks all over the place. I know most of the ones in my town stopped to skateboard but what ever happened to blading because you love it and not because everyone else was doing it. I see skateboard comercials and ads all over but nothing about blading. No skate shops in the mall for bladers just boarders. Whats up with the xgames too kicking bladers out. I guess what im getting at is that im sick of being one out of the three bladers in my town and im sick of the constant reminders that blading is no longer popular. luckily skateparks like boardrooms are reppin the scene and its slowley comeing back to life in england thank god!

Comment by johnmerrick on February 9, 2010 at 3:01pm: Yeah man, i started booting back in 1996, and back then there were agro kids everywhere. but then Tony fag Hawk did his tours and made his games and here we are. Although, if you can keep yourself from getting janked by gays on trays whilst at the park, the state of blading isn't really a bad thing.. It is whatever we want it to be cause it's not commercialized to death like skateboarding. You deffinately do it for the pleasure of it, for the love, cause bladers aren't winning any popularity contest these days. Enjoy the purity of it.
