A McTwist is an inverted spin on a ramp. They can be 540s or 720s. It all depeneds on what you think you can do.

Before you even attempt a mctwist, you must make sure that you can spin a 540 with no trouble and get about five feet of air. After you can do that, you are ready to try this trick.

540 MCTWIST:
Pump hard to get a big air off the vert, and when you reach the vert part of the transition bring your arms around to start spinning. At the same time, twist your head down to your ribs. This will get you upside down. If you've spun hard enough you will start spinning, and if you get the right momentum by bending you will start inverting. This will feel really wierd, and you must resist the temptation to spread your arms and legs out to stop yourself because if you do you will stop spinning upside down. This is not good.

When you feel yourself pass 360, you can now start to unwind your arms and legs to slow you down. You'll spin the rest of the 540 by momentum alone, so don't worry. It is at this point that most people grab, although if you think you are good you can try the whole thing with a grab. To get out of the inverted position you need to bring your knees up to your chest. This will get your legs sticking out at the correct angle to drop back in to the half-pipe. Getting back straight isn't easy, and you will have plenty of fun getting your bailing out technique right.

720 MCTWIST:
Pump as hard as you need to for a big fat air off the pipe, and spin your arms around the way you want to rotate. Tuck your head into your ribs, and begin the spin. This will get you spinning upside down. This time hold the position until you see the coping (at 540), and then start to unravel. As you are unwinding, bring your knees up to your chest to get your legs at the right angle, but this time spin your torso one last bit to complete the 720. You might need to twist your legs a bit to meet the transition, but this trick looks so good that you will want to make sure you land it every time you try.

True enough. This was written about the time someone did a 900 IIRC.

do you have one for misty flips?

here's how i do a misty flip:
through your head down as you come off the ramp (or whatever ur flippin off, can even be flat ground) and your feet over the top of you. As you come around keep you eyes on the floor directly below and slightly infront of you. Try to spot you lading as you start to rotate around 180 to land backwards. you need to factor the rotation of this trick into your run up slightly but a 180 is not a large rotation (it can be all to easy to over rotate and almost land forwards-this usualy results in you trippin over your feet as you land) your gona be be comin into your landing blind-ish for the very last part of your rotation - don't panic though just prepare your self to bend yor knees to absorb the impact as you land and ride away clean with a smile on your face.

note: this trick looks best in my opinion when performed at top speed over a launch box with a flaired out kinda abstract cross over of the legs at the point of being upside down - and as low as possible so your head feels like it's inches from the ground (scary when you first try it but your speed will carry you over the flat deck of the ramp and youl land on the down slope with super steez!
