Hey, the military people aren't that bad, you peeps just following orders, it is that or one or other punishment, it is the dicktator that is messed up, he is going to far, you almost think he wanna go for world domination. What he never will get, so the army is not the blame.

man, i totally respect people who serve. i just had one of my cousins that just left last week for training. and my sisters bf is going into training in april. In my opinion, everyone who doesn't respect all who serve dont respect the country.
I definitely respect you man. Keep it up.

I don't really give people in the military much more respect than I give those who work every day for what little they have. Hate me or not for it, but its my personal opinion. Those who enlist are 100% aware of the trials ahead of them, and the possibility of their fate lying within an enemy's cartridge. The only time I lose respect for someone in the armed forces is when they go for the wrong reasons. Those who go because they want it to bring acceptance, who want to hold it over someones head, etc, those are the ones I have no respect for.

However, I am against war, especially what we are involved in right now, and I refuse to support such. I am not proud to have G.W. as my president.

Like it or not, the reason we are able to hop online and make fools of ourselves is because of the people in the military. They protect our rights by guns that they hold in their hands.

If we didn't have you guys, we'd be just like the muslim/communist nations that filter the net and forbid people from getting on.

Agree with the war or not, the military protects us. If you disagree with the Iraq war vote in different congress critters and presidents. Keep in mind that it isn't just W behind this - the democratic congress refuses to do anything but give lip service to stopping the war. Even they know we need the strategic spot - both by region and by resources.

nobody likes war and the people that like war shouldnt be fighting it. those people that like war are generally crazy. we soldiers are only doing what we are asked to do. we have done alot to make sure the people here stay safe. we follow orders the same as you listen to your boss so u can keep your job.

Dude,i know that it is for protecting ppl but sometimes it is clear that the military does all the dirty war for the ppl that wanna control the world.Thats why i dont like military.I can understand that u guys do it for your country but shouldnt u sometimes weight up things?Cause the propaganda made by the ones that have the power to manipulate ppl is too clear too see sometimes.

One thing to remember is that:
No War != Peace

Think about that for a minute before you reply. I know if you are young (say under 20 or 25) you may not have enough perspective to realize that just because we don't want to fight doesn't mean we NEED to fight. Just like in the playgrounds around the world, if you are the kid that just sits there the jerks still come and whack you on the head. If you pop up from time to time and whack them back they leave you alone.

I don't know anyone that wants war, but it is a necessary evil.
