Well I went to myspace and what i saw someone wrote really makes me mad. It said alot of bad stuff about the miltary and gave no repect to the people who serve, please tell me there some who respect what we do.

War unfortunately like many of you have said is neccassary. There have always been wars, there will always be war and the best thing we can do is as civilians ride it out and support our troops. Not form protests and point the finger at whose wrong and what not, just deal with the issue. It's really simple, we get attacked we counter attack and destroy the opposition. It's been that way since forever, secondly whats with all this dictator and puppets crap? Apprently the media got to you too. Theres to sides to every story and both sides are fed their share "propaganda". Live your life as best you can and make the choices you feel are right. I dunno I just feel as though the people in our country these days put all the blame on the government and OUR troops when their there to protect US. So I can honestly say, I respect and admire many our troops.

I know that it sounds idealistic(a world without war) but i dont think that some1 has to be young to believe that ppl being killed is wrong.I can understand the counter attacking and that war will exist and i or any1 else cant do anything to stop war but sometimes wars are not counterattacks.These wars i dont like.Of course you will defend your country but when the war is for money its not war its crap.(i would reply bettter if i knew better english)

Of course no one wants war, and it's possible that it has become a war in order to make a certain party wealthier, however I recall when it first started out the vast majority was all in favor of war cause we felt threatened. War is almost always a counter attack, no matter how small or insignificant the reason for it to occur it is always a response to something that some new technology thats being used or something that another nation said or done. Regardless of the cause of war, it's inevitable and very neccassary. When a bully picks on you your bound to eventually want to settle it, when someone acts a certain way and it bothers you your bound to confront them. Same logic is being used in these wars. It puts a dent in our pockets and makes the rich, richer yet the rich provide the jobs. If the lack the funds to provide an oppurtunity for others then we're fucked. but thats another topic, with all this being said.. God Bless this country, God Bless the men that serve it. (Sidenote: this patriotism came from a beaner more or less. haha)

to me war is just a part of being human. if everyone was of one mind, ie religion, money, position in the world, etc. this wouldn't hapen but people are people. And i like being my own person. Its nice. If people didn't have war though people couldn't make money. Take for instance the great depresion. The depresion ended with the start of WWII. That is because all the industries boomed because of the war. that is a benifit of war, not a good reason to start one though.
