Just throwing a question out there on what your first pair of "aggressive skates" were. I'll Start,
My first pair were Bauer f3's with the frame dremel tooled down so I could fit a pair of CDS detroit Grease stick Grind plates on them. Man, they were Ghetto but, if you didn't have a pair of rollerblade TRS's. Then you didn't have "real aggressive skates" back then. My first real pair of aggressive skates were Roces Majestic 12's. The first ones, not the new ones...hahahaha
my neighbours gave me a pair of unbranded black and green inline ones. you had to get a hammer to make sure the clips worked, and i used to give myself blisters with them so i didn't have to go swimming practice XD
My first pair of "aggressive" skates were Ultrawheels Sabotage that I got about 8-10 years ago from a sports store in Blacksburg, VA (about 20 minutes from here). I freaking loved those things, I was the first of my friends to get that type of skates. After that I got Salomon ST-9 (which I still have, but dont use), then I got K2 Transfers, which I pretty much used til they died, now I have Razor Shima 7s.
My first pair were the old old roces m12, then went to swindlers, and then to superflats, and for the past 7 years had deshi, and im thinking about going to remz cause i heard good things about them.
my first pair of skates were rollerblade boxcars with an anti-rocker set up with scribe grind plates. i got a size 13 cause they were the only ones even close to my size in stock. i dont' remeber what wheels they came with but i eventually got Medium wheels on the inside and I think some Senate wheels on the outside. Then i upgraded to a pair of k2's and got some jon julio cozmo wheels. Once those wore out I went back to rollerblade and got a pair of paws and kept the same jon julio wheels. Those boxcars were probably my favorite skate tho.
I made some out of some old rollerblades, some CDS Repo grind plates, and some sheet metal, It was a project, I took out the middle wheels, and filed down a groove so that i could grind. there was pretty much no sole, so I had to lean way into my soul grinds, but they did work. Then my friend gave me some K2 Backyards, they were at the end of there lifespan when i got em though,
The first pair I bought was K2 Style Points, they were alright, but my friend had these solomon skates I used to borrow all the time, I think those, or these Roces skates my other friend had, were the best at the time.
