Just throwing a question out there on what your first pair of "aggressive skates" were. I'll Start,
My first pair were Bauer f3's with the frame dremel tooled down so I could fit a pair of CDS detroit Grease stick Grind plates on them. Man, they were Ghetto but, if you didn't have a pair of rollerblade TRS's. Then you didn't have "real aggressive skates" back then. My first real pair of aggressive skates were Roces Majestic 12's. The first ones, not the new ones...hahahaha
Started off with a pair of cheap RB hockey skates that i modified with RB side plates, move onto a cheap set of style-points now i got a pair of ST feinburgs.
army green and black non-ufs usd team classic thrones. skated them for 3 years. i had a groove so deep in the backslide/soul plate that you could see the boot. they were stolen when i moved a few years ago along with my feinbergs and rachards. but i still have the user manual's.

They were not my first pair of skates, but my first real aggressive skates were a pair of Lightning TRS's that a kid up the street stole from a rental place and sold to me for $20, which was a lot of money when I was 13 years old. I spray painted them green and drew on some adidas stripes on them just like Matty Mantz did to his Roces Streets back in the day when he skated for Kryptonics. The set up I rolled on was 44mm Senate C-notes on the inside and 62mm Arlo Lonestars on the outside with green Senate Wrenches as my first real grindplates. A few weeks ago I made some old school skates from stuff I found in ebay auctions. I found some Lightning TRS's and FR wheels and some grey Senate Wrenches, I'll post a picture of them soon.
Amazingly I actually still skate on my original Rollerblade ghetto specials. They were my first "aggressive" skates I made from a Rollerblade boxcar base, scribe grind plates, Barth crank strap, and CDS soul blocks. The 44mm Senate C-notes are still in the middle but the outsides are now my old Kryptonics hockey wheels (I always hated small outer wheels). When I got out of skating and sold my stuff a few years ago these were the only skates I kept since they weren't worth jack. I'm glad I kept them though because I honestly think I can pull more on them than the K2s I replaced them with years ago. Amazing how some other peoples scratch built stuff is still around...I thought I might be the only one left...haha.
my first ones along time ago whaen i was like 10 were some called chunk skates from like sports athority. my second ones that i got were some crappy skates by air walk. then my first real pair (that i skate with right now) are razor icons
i just put ABLE VM2 FREESTYLE FRAMES on them today and they are nice
rollerblade lightnings, then to the trs tarmanc, to k2 backyard bobs and fattys, oxygen 1.1, salomons, roces, back to roces agian and just bought a pair of salomon vinny minton? but several of the previous, one for the fact that nothing was replacable when i started, over a decade ago.
I got a pair of those for my 10yr old bro's birthday. They look pretty good, but I can't test them out before I give them to him (my feet are too big). Did you enjoy your St-80 skates?
