I am a 15 year old inline skater, I live in Canberra ( its a hole) the skate scene is pretty shotty at the best of times and the parks are overrun with skaters and bikers. Im not that great at skating because i barely have time for it because of school, i try my best to progress and mainly just have fun. I love park and think that grinds however kool are a waste of the wheels that sit on our boots. We should make the most of our wheels, so transfer gap and air as much as you can.

Favorite Music:: Im into most things, like almost all hip hop but i also like bloc party, postal service, the kooks, the presets and the wombats.

Favorite TV Shows:: Family guy, south park, american dad, mighty boosh and anything funny or entertaining.

Favorite Skates:: Ive only ever skated 1 pair of aggressive skates and they were XSJADO's but am getting new ones soon.

I woke up this mourning at about 6am, what a bitch. If this wasnt bad enough i was going into hospital to hopefully get some glass cut out of my hand. So we rock up there at 7 and fill out like a ton of paper work and shit until they finally buzz me through to the waiting area. I am writing this one handed

Just a normal day at school, how gay. rocked up at about 8:30 to get ready for class. started off with drama, holy shit my teacher is kidding, she wants us to film a short movie edit it and hand it in by tonight, what a start. so we get the filming done and its all looking good, time for history. history is never fun and especially when its the history of ur own federation which only happened 100 years ago. so we sit down and my teacher says "we are going to watch a vid" sweet i could use a bit… Continue

At 3:46pm on May 19th, 2008, The Xsjado said…: It all sorta depends on your preference. No skater is exactly alike. Most of the Xsjado line, I have skated at one point in time. From the old basic and Lattimer design, up to the 08 Farmer I currently roll. The new farmer is way more comfortable footwrap wise, and the heel locking mechanism is not as painful. I like my wraps really tight, and on the old Xsjado's if you tightened them down too much, they would start to hurt the side of your foot after you skate for maybe an hour. Weight wise too, the new Farmer is the lightest skate I have ever skated (tipping the scales at an anorexic 3.2 pounds!) Even if you have white boy syndrome like me, you can still get wicked air for your gaps, ledges and rails.

Its a shame you can't take a test drive o a new pair of skates like you can a car, but If you have a buddy that has a pair of xsjado's and wears your size, just ask him if you can borrow them for a couple hours to check em out. Unless he is a selfish asshole (in which case, find new friends) he will give you a loaner.
